Refund and Returns Policy

At JDF Gear, LLC, we stand behind the quality of our gear. Every item is made with purpose, and we don’t cut corners.

We strive to maintain policies are straightforward, fair, and equitably-enforced.


POLICY SUMMARY 

TL;DR:

• Standard items
   7-day return window; new, unused condition required.

• Custom orders
   Final sale (replacement only when defective or damaged in transit).

• Shipping fees
   Non-refundable. 

• Unauthorized or late returns
   Will be rejected.

• Return shipping fees
   We'll cover it in the case of damaged/defective items.
   The customer is responsible for return shipping fees in all other instances. 


STANDARD RETURNS (NON-CUSTOM ITEMS) 

JDF Gear offers a 7-day return window.

We accept returns on eligible items within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is:

  • Unworn;
  • Unwashed; and
  • In original condition.

If it looks used, worn, damaged, or altered, we cannot accept the item for return. 

Exception: If an item is damaged in transit, we are happy to ship out a replacement upon receipt of the returned damaged item. 

Note: Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable. 


CUSTOM ORDERS

Final Sale...But We’ll Fix Our Mistakes.

Some of our gear is made specifically for you, as disclosed in the product description. In the case of custom items:

  • No refunds or returns on custom items.

However, if we made an error (wrong design, misspelling, or defective print), we will replace it promptly at no cost to you.

If it’s on us, we fix it. Simple.


HOW TO START A RETURN

  1. Email us within 7 days, including photographs if it's a damaged or defective item. In the case of an item damaged in transit, please include a photo of the parcel too. Email us at:

  2. We will review and provide return approval.

  3. If the return is due to damage or defect, we will provide you with a return label so you can ship the item back to us. 

  4. If the return is due to a reason other than damage or defect, the customer is responsible for the return shipping fee. 

  5. Ship the parcel and we will process your return and credit your original payment method within 3-5 business days of receiving the item. 

Please note: Unauthorized returns will be rejected.


SHIPPING FEES

Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable. 

  • If the issue is our fault (defect, shipping damage, etc.): we will cover it.
  • If not: the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We will provide you with the return address with the return approval email. 

 


FAQs

Why are custom orders non-refundable?
Custom orders are non-refundable because they’re made specifically for the customer's specifications and cannot be resold. If there’s a problem that's our fault, we're happy to replace it.

Can I return a custom item?
No. But if it’s defective or incorrect, we’ll make it right.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Email us with your order details and a photo of the damaged item and parcel. We’ll confirm the damage and provide a replacement.

How long do returns take?
Once received, allow 3-5 business days for inspection and processing.
